In 2003, I chose to serve a 2-year service mission to Spain for my church. It was in Spain that I learned to speak fluent Spanish and have since used it continually throughout my schooling and career. A few summers ago, I went through the Intermountain Healthcare Medical Interpreting Training and as a result received my interpreting certificate.
